Learning Services Ltd (LSL) offers services in educational assessment. The core assessment offered is the Woodcock Johnson IV battery that is designed to identify specific learning disabilities such as dyslexia.

We Train. Assess. Facilitate

Training for Educators

Learning Services Ltd also provides training for educators who want to learn to use the WJIV assessment battery. This training is offered under the authority of Learning Disabilities Association of New Zealand (LDANZ) and New Zealand Council of Educational Research (NZCER). Consultancy Services

Learning Services Ltd is also offering a consultancy service to school SENCO and LSC. We provide the registration and training for school based educators to gain access to, and mastery of, additional tests that are available through NZCER and Pearson.  Visit the School Based Assessor Registration (SBAR) link to find out more.

CALM

Learning Services Ltd also provides training in the delivery and facilitation of Project CALM.  Project CALM is an anxiety reduction program for school aged children and their families. Learning Services is the preferred provider for the training of facilitators wanting to deliver this program in their community. For more information on Project CALM, please visit Manawatu SF.  

About

Andrew Salisbury is the Director of Learning Services Ltd. In this role, he oversees:

  • assessment of specific learning disabilties
  • training of LDANZ Registered Assessors
  • development of School Based Assessor Registration.

Andrew was awarded a Masters in Educational Psychology from Massey University.

He is not a registered psychologist. 

Andrew also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching and a Bachelors degree in English Literature.
